QUEENSLAND police are planning to hound criminal bikie gang members even after they've left the state.
Police plan to use a section of the criminal code to nab bikies for gathering in groups of three in other Australian states, the ABC reports.
Section 12 of the Criminal Code covers crimes committed either partially or wholly in Queensland.
Senior officers have told the ABC that if bikies meet in groups of three or more interstate, Queensland police can still get them.
Officers must get some recording of it - for example security camera footage from a restaurant or service station.
If the bikies involved in the alleged crime return to Queensland, they can be arrested and face up to three years in jail, the ABC says.
AAP has sought comment from police.
