A NUMBER of shots were fired into a Melbourne pizza shop after it had closed for the night.
Police were called to the restaurant on Nicholson Street in Fitzroy North just after 11pm (AEDT) on Wednesday after reports of shots being fired.
The restaurant was closed and no one was injured.
Detectives are investigating and have asked for anyone with information to come forward.
